I loved and valued every day I spent with her, so to thank her for everything I made her this embroidery hoop picture frame!
The embroidery hoop is a throwback to when I borrowed hers to keep myself entertained during the hurricane then just ended up keeping it for the next 6 months...
The picture is a special moment we all shared in a limo on the way home from Julie's party ;)
Heart buttons were necessary. The running stitch spells out "I <3 you sew much!"
Wow...just realized from up close that leg/knee definitely looks like cleavage. WELL IT'S NOT. Anyway, the fabric was part of my grandmother's fabric collection. OF COURSE.
And this illustration of Julie adorned her card!!
This is definitely an easy craft for anyone to try. But if you end up doing it, I'm going to sue you because it was my idea.
