A couple months back, some idiot acquired my debit card info and attempted to withdraw a bunch of money from my account. Bank of America obviously immediately knew this wasn't me because I almost never withdraw cash (because I never have cash to withdraw) and canceled my card, which left me with my first canceled debit card that they suggested I "cut up and throw away".
But the words "cut up" evoked inspiration from inside my crocheted crafter's heart, and I decided to make it into a necklace instead!

I just punched two holes in the top, sprayed it gold and strung it through a 14k gold chain I found in the Bedford/Nostrand subway station and voila! New necklace.
By far the best conversational piece and the best/easiest thing I've ever made.
